A.W. Campbell Award
The A.W. Campbell Award commemorates the eminent Australian Neurologist whose "Histological studies on the localisation of cerebral function" in 1905 founded cerebral cytoarchitectonics. It is awarded for the best contribution by a member of the Society during their first five postdoctoral years. The successful applicant will receive a certificate and prize money of $500, and a copy of Malcolm Macmillan's biography, "Snowy Campbell: Australian Pioneer Investigator of the Brain". The award winner will be invited to present the AW Campbell Lecture at the ANS Annual Scientific Meeting in December 2024.
Conditions
- You are eligible to apply if you received your Ph.D. up to seven years prior to the closing date but note the application should include only contributions during the first five postdoctoral years. Considerations for career disruptions will be made, please provide evidence.
