ANS has introduced the ANS Satellite Meeting Partnership Subsidy to enhance the annual scientific meeting and to provide broader networking opportunities for our membership.

ANS will provide a subsidy of $20 per satellite meeting registrant (ANS members and non-members) up to a maximum of $1000 for the purpose of reducing satellite meeting registration fees, for example by helping cover the costs of room hire, catering or speaker travel expenses.

Subsidies will be granted subject to the conditions detailed in the policy document.

To receive the subsidy the organiser must submit the following information in a single pdf to the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., as early as possible but no later than 2 weeks prior to the satellite meeting.

(i) an abstract describing the research theme and aims of the meeting,

(ii) the proposed program and key speakers,

(iii) current list of registrants,

(iv) venue, and

(v) any confirmed or potential sponsorship,

(vi) a statement confirming that all ANS requirements have been met (see policy document).

Note: the organisers must receive written confirmation of support from the ANS Conference Executive Chair (CEC) or Treasurer before the satellite meeting commences.

Immediately after the meeting the organisers must provide the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a pdf containing a detailed meeting report including:

The ANS Council has now approved a formal Satellite Meeting Policy (see attached pdf) which includes a subsidy of $20 per registrant (ANS members and non-members) up to a maximum of $1000 for the purpose of reducing satellite meeting registration fees (subject to the conditions below), for example by helping cover the costs of room hire, catering or speaker travel expenses.
We are currently setting up a page on the ANS website that will allow you to upload the required documentation. In the meantime, please let me know if you are interested in becoming an ANS ASM Satellite Partner.
